Summit Agenda

The CYAS Agenda is carefully crafted to provide a dynamic and inclusive experience that empowers children and youth from Small Island Developing States. Each day of the summit blends powerful keynote sessions, interactive workshops, youth-led panels, and creative showcases—ensuring that participants not only learn, but also lead and inspire.

The summit opens with a Youth Welcome Ceremony, followed by high-level addresses from global leaders, activists, and innovators. Throughout the week, sessions focus on key themes such as climate action, education for the future, digital equity, mental health, and indigenous knowledge. Special attention is given to real-life stories and community-driven solutions led by young people.

Workshop tracks allow participants to dive deeper into action-oriented topics—building skills in advocacy, storytelling, project design, and cross-border collaboration. Youth delegates will also engage in simulation exercises, policy roundtables, and joint declarations that reflect their vision for sustainable island futures.

The final day culminates in a Global Youth Action Forum, where participants present their outcomes, pledges, and next steps. This closing event celebrates the collective energy and creativity of SIDS youth and marks the beginning of long-term partnerships and initiatives born at CYAS.
